Drillaärgh is quickly thwarted, and the two fall into Ghaâstly's dimension.īefore Buck can disclose his location to Splaärghon, Zee and Granny Gumbo freeze him with telekinesis and make him unable to speak. They arrive in Drillaärgh's dimension, and him and Nursie chase them down. Kitty and Piranha's ship eventually crash inside the basement, having fortunately aimed to the next dimension. Wolf unfortunately peeks inside, and immediately drops dead. Ellen asks what he wants to say, and he explains that the underlord's name is Esmeralda Ghaâstly, and that her box contains something so frightening, that anyone who looks instantly dies of shock. Abe keeps attempting to warn Wolf, but he silences him, claiming he has a plan. They're about to enter when the underlord appears behind Wolf, carrying an ornate box. ![]() It turns out Buck's claim was a lie, and he is actually a spy for Splaarghön, having been promised "underlordship" in exchange for The Others' location.Īs Wolf's team walks through the dimension, they eventually find an abandoned shack, which is the location of the next doorway. Once she finishes, Zee questions who Buck really is, and he starts running to the ship. She goes on a defensive rant, praising Buck's skill while demanding the team apologize for their suspicions. The two eventually accept that they must move forward to the next dimension, until Onsáày causes the ship to crash down.īuck Thunders reveals that he's apart of The Others, leaving the B-Team except Tiffany confused. The group is then left with messy hair, with Abe explaining this underlord's mere presence causes bad luck, weather, moods, and hair.Īs Onsáày chases Kitty and Piranha, the two contemplate on returning to save Shark and Hogwild, with Kitty proposing Piranha uses his newfound ability. While Fox offers an alternative workaround, the underlord approaches their whereabouts, sniffs behind the log, and leaves. Wolf then asks if he can do so without giving away their location, when he regretfully does so right after. Fox asks Abe if he can guide them to the doorway, to which he accepts. Meanwhile, Wolf, Fox, Shortfuse, and a restrained Abe are hiding from the underlord behind a log. The story then cuts to the present day, with Splaarghön praising Snake upon his successful corruption of Shark and Hogwild. Wolf introduces Snake to him, and he offers Snake a job, which he accepts. Once he does so, the two drive off to an auto repair shop owned by Wolf's father. Wolf, where the former is attempting to jump-start a car. The story begins with a childhood memory of Mr. So, uh, don’t relax, maybe FREAK OUT a little and have your MIND BLOWN by the BAD GUYS! PLUS there’s now a whole bunch of even weirder stuff involving an over-sharing bat, a really scary new character who lives in the woods, and a strangely confident little guy with a mullet. We also admit that it features ALL the weird stuff we said it didn’t. A lot of the stuff we said on the back of the last book was NOT TRUE.
